2024 CTWEA Ski Classic

Friday February 4, 2024, was the fourteenth year for the CTWEA Ski Classic. Every year we have an event at Stratton Mountain in Vermont for a day of skiing, enjoying each other’s company and networking. This year was no different other than we had a record number of people attending.
Thirty-Six skiers and snowboarders participated in the event this year. The weather this year was much warmer than last year’s below zero temperatures. Visibility was noticeably better towards the bottom of the mountain. Various skiers and snowboarders broke into groups and hit the mountain. Conditions were packed power and great. We used the Slopes ski app this year which allowed everyone to see where all the skiers from our group were located throughout the day. Next year we plan to have awards for various ski categories! All skiers and boarders met at the Grizzly’s lounge at around 2 pm after a full day of skiing and boarding for well-deserved nachos, wings, adult beverages, and networking. Attendees ranged from engineers, municipalities, water companies, vendors, and government officials.
