The Operations Challenge Committee is a group of individuals who work together to organize, support and assemble an Ops Challenge Team which will compete both regionally and nationally within the guidelines of events and rules established by the Water Environment Federation. The committee will gather talent, establish training programs and secure funding, equipment and venues to facilitate training for the five events (Safety, Laboratory, Process Control, and Collections & Pump Event.) Six New England teams compete in all five events for one of three slots to represent CTWEA and NEWEA in the National Operations Challenge competition at WEFTEC in the fall.
