The CTWEA Scholarship program was started in 2005. It has been going strong for over 16 straight years. The purpose of the scholarship is to support graduating high school senior students who plan to attend a higher learning facility, pursuing an environmental curriculum. We have distributed approximately $29,000 in scholarships since its inception to well-deserved high school seniors. The requirements are a minimum GPA of 3.0, completed application form, resume, cover letter describing why you should be awarded this scholarship, record of transcript and one letter of recommendation from an academic/extracurricular teacher or advisor addressed to CTWEA. This year we are excited to announce that we will be awarding a total of $5,000 in scholarships to deserving students. This amount will be divided among up to five students, depending upon the quality and strength of the applications received. Please encourage qualified graduating high school seniors to apply. We look forward to supporting young professionals entering the environmental field!
